Salad Kits

Kat’s Salad Kits are a fully prepared salad that showcases the array of fresh seasonal greens and vegetables grown on her farmlet and sourced from the best local growers. The seasonal ingredients change each week to share with you the flavors and freshness of local food, in a convenient form. The kit provides all the ingredients you need for a plant based lunch, meal prep, healthy picnic, office luncheon, side dish or main dish! Find them at retail locations near you, place an order online, or sign up for a subscription by joining a farm membership.

Our Packaging

Our packaging is manufactured in the USA using plant based & compostable materials. They help keep our product looking fresh, and do the same for our planet.

Our Freshness

It is important that your salad stay fresh until you are ready to enjoy it. We pride ourselves on exceptional shelf life. How do we do it? It’s a blend of the timing of the harvest, the sharpness of our knives, proper storage temperatures, thorough sanitation protocols, and air tight packaging.

Most of the time we are harvesting greens and preparing salads the same day! You can expect 5-7 days of ‘shelf’ life for each undressed salad, sometimes longer depending on the mix of ingredients.

Our value added products are prepared in a VDACS licensed home processing kitchen. We take many steps, outlined in our food safety plan to insure that food is prepared in a clean, sanitary environment. We choose wholesome ingredients and try to use as few of the main allergic-reaction causing foods as possible. However, if you have food allergies or sensitivities, we want you to know that our kitchen also handles WHEAT, EGGS, PEANUTS, TREE NUTS, and MILK.
